The Jeep Patriot compact SUV, Jeep released in 2007; it ran until 2017. Initially, 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter, in-line, fur-cylinder engines were offered, making 158 and 172 horsepower, respectively, whether they mated to five-speed manual or continuously variable (CVT) transmissions. Two- and four-wheel drive (2WD and 4WD, respectively) were also available. Features ranged widely, from steel wheels, air conditioning, and a sunroof to choice of leather or stain-resistant cloth upholstery, plus heated seats, a six-disc CD changer, and more.

For its final year, the model offered a couple packages. One was the Sport SE package, which included a leather-trimmed steering wheel, heated front seats, and more. The other was a High Altitude package, one of its standout inclusions being a power-adjustable driver's seat.
