The Jeep Renegade subcompact SUV debuted from Jeep in 2015. Initially, it was available in Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk trims, and engine options included 1.4-liter turbo I4 and 2.4-liter I4, the latter naturally aspirated. They made 160 and 180 horsepower, respectively, when paired with the corresponding six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive (4WD) was available, as were air conditioning, a 5-inch Uconnect infotainment system, and fog lights. You could also get a My Sky removable roof system.

For 2022, the model offered a single engine, a turbocharged 1.3-liter, in-line, four-cylinder, and it was capable of 177 horsepower. Features ranged from a 7-inch Uconnect 4 system and push-button ignition to a choice of steel or alloy wheels and roof rails. Many packages were also offered. The Altitude package, for instance, added black interior and exterior trim, a black headliner, black wheels, and more. The Convenience Package, on the other hand, incorporated heated front seats, power-adjustable driver's seating, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and more. Other packages included Sun/Sound (which had a panoramic moonroof and premium audio), Sun, Sound and Wheels, and Trailer Tow.
