The Dodge Magnum station wagon debuted in 2005 and ran until Dodge took it out of production in 2008. Its first year, the car was offered in SE, SXT, and R/T trims. The first had a 190-horsepower, 2.7-liter V6 engine, the second had a high-output 250-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6, and the third had a 340-horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V8.

For the 2006 model year, base and SRT8 trims were added. The former incorporated a 200-horsepower, 2.7-liter V6; the latter incorporated a 425-horsepower, 6.1-liter HEMI V8. Both trims and their engines remained available in 2007.

Standard and available features up through the final year ranged widely. Performance features included everything from a five-speed Auto Stick transmission and all-wheel drive to performance suspension, steering, and exhaust systems. Interior features included air conditioning, a six-disc CD changer, power-adjustable pedals, and a power sunroof, plus both heated front seats and a steering wheel and shift knob in leather wrap. Technology features included UConnect electronics and remote ignition, cargo and trailering features included a cargo net and towing package, and exterior features included aluminum wheels and automatic headlights.
