Dodge Viper was a sports car that debuted in 1992 and was available until 2017. The model took brief hiatuses in 2007, 2011, and 2012, and it briefly appeared under the SRT (Street & Racing Technology) brand in 2013 and 2014, returning to Dodge afterward.
Notable model years along the way were many. In 1996, for example, a GTS trim became available, as did an 8.0-liter V10 engine. In 1998, GT2 and R/T-10 trims were offered, followed in 1999 by an ACR trim. For 2008, SRT-10 and SRT-10 ACR trims were added, as was an 8.4-liter V10 engine. 2015 brought with it a GT trim, as did the 2016 model year offer a GTC trim.
